CUSCO MACHUPICCHU & ADVENTURES

DAY 01:

LIMA / CUSCO / CUSCO CITY TOUR

Tour Start: 1:20pm to 4:30pm. The city tour starts between 1:20 – 1:45 pm approximately with the pick-up of our passengers from their respective hotels. During our tour, we will visit five archaeological sites around the city of Cusco: Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay. Our guide will provide us with information about the history and importance of each of these splendid places. We will also have the opportunity to visit craft centers to observe the manufacturing of garments made from alpaca and llama wool. We will have enough time at each site to take the respective photos. We will return to the city of Cusco around 7:00 pm. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 02:

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN (VINICUNCA)

Tour Start: 4:30am to 6:30pm. Dare to take this adventure and appreciate this gift of nature with your family or friends. This tour complements Machu Picchu and is available every day of the year. You can start this adventure in a group or privately. Arrival in Cusco at 6:00 pm – Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 03:

SACRED VALLEY TOUR + 01 NIGHT IN AGUAS CALIENTES

Tour Start: 8:00am to 6:30pm. Our Sacred Valley tour will start with the pick-up from your hotel between 8:10 – 8:45 am approximately. We will visit the archaeological site of Pisaq and the indigenous market of Pisaq as the first places to visit. In Pisaq, you will appreciate the beauty of this archaeological site as well as the ancient customs of this beautiful town. Pisaq is an important archaeological center that combines mystical Inca constructions and the natural richness of the Sacred Valley. Continuing our tour, we will reach the city of Urubamba where we will have our lunch prepared with native products of this region. After lunch, we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, which was a strategic military, religious, and agricultural center. The architectural setting is exceptionally interesting due to the size, style, and originality of its buildings. The Sacred Valley tour will end around 4:00 pm in the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will board our train to Aguas Calientes town where we will spend the night. Our guide will be waiting for us to provide the necessary instructions for our tour of the Machu Picchu archaeological site the next day. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 04:

MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY TOUR

Tour Start: 6:00am to 2:30pm. Once in Aguas Calientes town, we will ascend by bus for approximately 30 minutes along the mountainside to reach the citadel of Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of engineering and architecture that is believed to have served as a sanctuary and resting place for the Inca Pachacútec. Machu Picchu, which means “Old Mountain,” is considered a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the new seven wonders of the world. Our guide will provide explanations about this architectural marvel, and then we will have free time to take the necessary photos. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Aguas Calientes train station to take our return train to the Ollantaytambo station, where we will be waiting for you to take you to your respective hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 05:

MARAS MORAY / SALINERAS

Tour Start: 8:40am to 2:30pm. The tour to the salt mines of Maras and the Inca agricultural terraces of Moray is an ideal complement to your excursions to Machu Picchu. You will appreciate snow-covered mountains, cultivated fields, and colorful and traditional towns. Overnight in Cusco.
Places to Visit: Chinchero Typical Village, Moray Archaeological Park, Salineras (Salt Mines), Maras Typical Village.

DAY 06:

HUMANTAY LAKE

Tour Start: 4:30am to 5:30pm. If you have limited time and would love to experience the mountains of Cusco, this program invites you to get up close to the Humantay Lake located at the foot of the Humantay snow-capped mountain. You’ll enjoy a short walk accompanied by breathtaking mountain scenery. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 07:

CUSCO / AIRPORT TRANSFER

Transfer to the airport at the appropriate time.
