CUSCO MACHUPICCHU & ADVENTURES

DAY 01:

LIMA / CUSCO / CUSCO CITY TOUR

Tour Start: 13:20am to 16:30pm. The city tour starts between 1:20 – 1:45 pm approx. with the pick-up of our passengers from their respective hotels. In our tour, we will visit five archaeological sites near the city of Cusco. Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay. Our guide will give us insight into the history and importance of each of these splendid places. We will also have the opportunity to visit craft centers to observe the production of garments made from alpaca and llama wool. In each of the visited places, we will have enough time to take the respective photos. The return to the city of Cusco will be around 7:00 pm.

DAY 02:

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN (VINICUNCA)

Tour Start: 04:30am to 18:30pm. Dare to take this adventure and witness this gift of nature with your family or friends. This tour complements the visit to Machu Picchu. It is available 365 days a year. You can start this adventure both in a group or privately. 6:00 pm Arrival in Cusco.

DAY 03:

SACRED VALLEY TOUR + 01 NIGHT IN AGUAS CALIENTES

Tour Start: 08:00am to 18:30pm. Our Sacred Valley tour begins with the pick-up from your hotel between 8:10 – 8:45 am approx. We will visit the archaeological site of Pisaq and the indigenous market of Pisaq as the first places to visit, where we will appreciate the beauty of this archaeological site and the ancient customs of this beautiful town. Pisaq is an important archaeological center that combines mystical Inca constructions and the natural richness of the Sacred Valley. Continuing our tour, we will arrive at the city of Urubamba where we will have our lunch prepared with native products of this region. After lunch, we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, which was a strategic military, religious, and agricultural center. The architectural setting is exceptionally interesting due to the size, style, and originality of its buildings. The Sacred Valley tour will end around 4:00 pm in the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will board our train to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night. Our guide will be waiting for us to provide the necessary instructions for our tour the next day to the archaeological sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

DAY 04:

MACHUPICCHU FULL DAY TOUR

Tour Start: 6:00am to 14:30pm. Once in the town of Aguas Calientes, we will ascend by bus for approximately 30 minutes, along the mountainside, to reach the citadel of Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of engineering and architecture believed to have served as a sanctuary and resting place for the Inca Pachacútec. Machu Picchu, which means “Old Mountain,” is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the new seven wonders of the world. Our guide will provide an explanation about this architectural marvel, and then we will have free time to take the necessary photos. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the train station in Aguas Calientes and take our return train to the Ollantaytambo station, where we will be waiting to take you to your respective hotel.

DAY 05:

MARAS MORAY / SALINERAS

Tour Start: 8:40am to 14:30pm. The tour to the Maras salt mines and the Inca agricultural terraces of Moray is an ideal complement to your excursions to Machu Picchu. You will appreciate snow-covered mountains, cultivated fields, and colorful and traditional villages.
Places to Visit: Chinchero Typical Town, Moray Archaeological Park, Salineras (Salt Mines), Typical Town of Maras.

DAY 06:

HUMANTAY LAKE

Tour Start: 04:30am to 17:30pm. For those with limited time who would love to experience a bit of the Cusco mountains, this program invites you to get up close to the Humantay Lake located at the foot of the Humantay mountain, in a short walk accompanied by an impressive mountain landscape.

DAY 07:

CUSCO – FREE DAY

Free Day – Personal activities.

DAY 08:

CUSCO / AIRPORT TRANSFER

At the appropriate time, Airport Transfer.
