The 8-day, 7-night “Complete Cusco + Rainbow Mountain” tour package offers a comprehensive experience to discover the wonders of Cusco and its surroundings. The itinerary includes a city tour of Cusco’s main archaeological sites, visits to the salt mines of Maras and the agricultural terraces of Moray, the ascent to the Rainbow Mountain, a tour of the Sacred Valley with an overnight stay in Aguas Calientes, and a visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Additionally, a tour of the Southern Valley of Cusco is conducted, visiting Tipón, Pikillaqta, and the Church of Andahuaylillas. The package concludes with airport transfer. This package provides a complete and diverse experience to explore the history, culture, and nature of the Cusco region.
Itinerary
DAY 01:
LIMA / CUSCO / CUSCO CITY TOURS
AIRPORT PICKUP – HOTEL.
DAY 02:
MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY TOUR
Tour Start: 13:20am to 16:30pm.
The city tour starts between 13:20 – 13:45 pm approx. with the pickup of our passengers from their respective hotels. In our tour, we will visit five archaeological sites near the city of Cusco: Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay. Our guide will provide us with the history and importance of each of these splendid places. We will also have the opportunity to visit craft centers to observe the production of garments made from alpaca wool, llamas, etc. At each visit, we will have sufficient time to take the respective photos. We will return to the city of Cusco at approximately 19:00hs.

DAY 03:
MARAS MORAY / SALINERAS
Tour Start: 8:40am to 14:30pm. The tour to the salt mines of Maras and the Inca agricultural terraces of Moray is an ideal complement to your excursions to Machu Picchu. You will appreciate snow-covered mountains, cultivated fields, and colorful and traditional villages. Overnight in Cusco.
Places to Visit: Chinchero Typical Town, Moray Archaeological Park, Salineras (Salt Mines), Typical Village of Maras.
DAY 04:
RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
Tour Start: 04:30am to 18:30pm.
Dare to take this adventure and appreciate this gift of nature with your family or friends. This tour is a complement to Machu Picchu and is available 365 days a year. You can start this adventure both in groups and privately. 18:00 Arrival in Cusco – Overnight in Cusco



DAY 05:
SACRED VALLEY + NIGHT IN AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU
Tour Start: 08:00am to 18:30pm.
Our Tour to the Sacred Valley will start with the pickup from your hotel between 8:10 – 8:45 am approx. We will head to the archaeological site of Pisaq and the indigenous market of Pisaq as the first places to visit, where we will appreciate the beauty of this archaeological site as well as the ancient customs of this beautiful town. Pisac is an important archaeological center that combines mystical Inca constructions and the natural richness of the Sacred Valley. Continuing our tour, we will reach the city of Urubamba where we will have our lunch prepared with native products from this region. After finishing our lunch, we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, which was a strategic military, religious, and agricultural center. The architectural setting is exceptionally interesting due to the size, style, and originality of its buildings. The Sacred Valley tour will end at approximately 16:00 pm in the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will board our train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night. Our guide will be waiting for us to provide us with the necessary instructions for our tour of the archaeological sanctuary of Machu Picchu the following day. Overnight in Aguas Calientes
DAY 06:
MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY TOUR
Tour Start: 6:00am to 14:30pm.
Being in the town of Aguas Calientes, we will ascend by bus for approximately 30 minutes, along the mountainside, to reach the citadel of Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of engineering and architecture believed to have served as a sanctuary and resting place for the Inca Pachacútec. Machu Picchu, which means “Old Mountain,” is considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the new seven wonders of the world. Our guide will explain the details about this architectural marvel, and then we will have free time to take the necessary photos. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the train station in Aguas Calientes and take our return train to the Ollantaytambo station, where we will be waiting to take you to your respective hotel. DAY 07:
CUSCO SOUTHERN VALLEY TOUR
Tour Start: 08:40 Hrs – 14:30 Hrs.
Pickup from your hotel in Cusco. The first stop will be the archaeological center of Tipón, an Inca ceremonial center where the flow of water from the high summits of Cerro Pachatusan to the lowlands of the valley was controlled through a stone channel. We will then visit the archaeological complex of Pikillaqta, which literally means “city of fleas.” It is an ancient walled citadel of the Wari Empire, which was one of the most important regional centers of the Wari Culture in its expansion towards the city of Cusco. Finally, we will conclude the journey by visiting the beautiful Church of Andahuaylillas, a small gem of the Colonial period, also known as the ‘Sistine Chapel of America.’ Inside, there is an impressive collection of paintings with gold leaf frames and baroque altarpieces.
