The 3-day, 2-night Basic Cusco Tour package offers a complete experience to discover the cultural and historical richness of the region. On the first day, a city tour is conducted, visiting the main archaeological sites of Cusco, including stops at Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay. On the second day, the Sacred Valley is visited, including Pisaq, the indigenous market, Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo, where an overnight stay is arranged before heading to Aguas Calientes. The third day is dedicated to the visit of Machu Picchu, the iconic Inca citadel. Finally, on the fourth day, transfer to the airport is provided. This package offers an unforgettable experience to explore the historical and natural treasures of Cusco and its surroundings.

Itinerary

DAY 01:

LIMA / CUSCO / CUSCO CITY TOURS

The city tour starts between 1:20 – 1:45 pm approximately with the pick-up of our passengers from their respective hotels. During our tour, we will visit five archaeological sites near the city of Cusco. Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay. Our guide will introduce us to the history and importance of each of these splendid places. We will also have the opportunity to visit craft centers to observe the production of garments made from alpaca and llama wool. We will have sufficient time at each visit location to take the respective photos. The return to the city of Cusco will be around 7:00 pm.

DAY 02:

MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY TOUR

At 2:00 am, Pick-up from Cusco Hotel – Transfer to Ollantaytambo Train Station – Train Departure at 5:05 am from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. Once in the town of Aguas Calientes, we will take a bus that will ascend the mountain slope for approximately 30 minutes to reach the citadel of Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of engineering and architecture that is believed to have served as a sanctuary and resting place for Inca Pachacútec. Machu Picchu, which means “Old Mountain,” is considered a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Our guide will provide an explanation of this architectural wonder, and then we will have free time to take the necessary photos. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Aguas Calientes train station to take the return train to Ollantaytambo, where we will be waiting to take you to your respective hotel.

DAY 03:

HOTEL – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

Transfer to the airport at the appropriate time.
