Shorter and Most Beautiful Path to Rainbow Mountain, it’s the new route we offer to our visitors. Rainbow Mountain, complete with views of the Red Valley and the impressive Rainbow Mountain, attracts a large number of visitors. Undoubtedly, it’s the variety of colors and its location in the Andes at an altitude of over 5,040 meters above sea level that make this place a great challenge for many visitors. Itinerary
DAY 01:
Hike to Rainbow Mountain
- 04:30 – 05:00 Pick-up at your hotel with our Tourist Transportation.
- 07:00 Arrival at Cusipata – Paucarpata.
- 07:20 Enjoy breakfast in Cusipata.
- 08:40 Arrive at Llaqto, Checkpoint, where our guide will provide recommendations and a small ceremony to the Mountains.
- 09:30 Continue the tour and observe the Snowy Peak – Wiñay Ritty.
- 10:00 Then, we will walk through beautiful landscapes for 1 hour and 20 minutes until we reach Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain at 5020 meters above sea level.
- 11:20 Delight in a panoramic view of Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain.
- 12:00 Afterward, we will take the return route through the Mirador Del Valle Rojo, Red Mountains, a walk over this ecosystem considered as the Andean Desert.
- 12:30 Final Visit to another viewpoint of Vinicunca for photos and return to Llaqto, where our vehicle will be waiting.
- 13:30 Buffet Lunch with a variety of Novo Andina cuisine.
- 16:00 Arrival in the city of Cusco.
