The South Valley Tour of Cusco is an exciting one-day experience that will take you to explore the fascinating archaeological sites and breathtaking landscapes of the region. During the tour, you will visit iconic destinations such as the archaeological complex of Tipón, known for its impressive agricultural terraces and hydraulic systems; Piquillacta, an ancient pre-Inca city with well-preserved ruins and structures; and the temple of Andahuaylillas, also known as the “Sistine Chapel of America,” famous for its beautiful colonial paintings and baroque architecture.

Itinerary

DAY 01:

South Valley Tour of Cusco

Our transfer will pick you up at your hotel between 08:20 am and 08:40 am approximately to take you to the starting point and begin this tour to the South Valley of Cusco. We will take a 40-minute trip southwest to reach Tipón, which is part of the Qapac Ñan route. Then we will head to Pikillaqta, considered one of the most famous and best-preserved pre-Inca cities in Peru, and we will finish in the town of Andahuaylillas and its Sistine Chapel of America with its impressive works of art. Finally, we return to the city of Cusco where our tour ends at approximately 1:00 pm.
