Itinerary
DAY 01:
Uros Islands and Amantani Tour – Full Day
This tour starts at 6:45 AM with the transfer from your hotel to the Port of Puno, where you will board a motorboat to visit the floating islands of Uros. In Lake Titicaca, there are more than 50 floating islands, of which you will visit only two. On the first floating island, the tour guide will provide some information about the people who live on the islands. After the explanation, you will have free time to walk around the island, take photos, and spend a little over an hour visiting two floating islands.
After this visit, you will continue the boat journey to the island of Amantani. Upon arrival at the island’s port, you will meet the families who will take you to their homes for lunch. In the afternoon, there will be a gathering for the hike to the highest point of the island (the Pachatata Temple) located at 4150 meters above sea level (13600 feet).
You will return to the city of Puno, concluding the tour at approximately 5:00 pm.
