Itinerary

DAY 01:

Tour of the Uros Islands – Half Day

This tour starts at approximately 8:45 AM with the transfer from your hotel to the Port of Puno, where you will board a motorized boat to visit the floating islands of the Uros.
The community of the Uros floating islands is located 30 minutes from the Port of Puno. There are more than 50 small floating islands, and you will visit two of them. On the first island, the tour guide will provide some information about the people living on the floating islands, and after the explanation, you will have free time to walk around the island, take photos, and interact with the families on the island. Then, you will have the opportunity to take a ride in a totora reed raft built by the island families. The ride lasts approximately 15 minutes (OPTIONAL). On the second island, you will have an additional 10 to 15 minutes of free time. Overall, you will spend about one and a half hours visiting 2 floating islands before returning to the city of Puno.
The tour ends at approximately 12:00 PM.
